Marzia Kabir Sonica known as DJ Sonica is a Bangladeshi DJ, singer, TV host and actress. She is the first female DJ in Bangladesh who gained massive popularity as female DJ. Sonica performed at ICC World CUP 2011 opening ceremony. She has received the award for "Best Bangladeshi Female DJ" in the Dhallywood Film and Music Awards in 2013.[1]
Career
[edit]Sonica started her Dj career at 2007. She has performed as Dj internationally many platforms.[2][3] She performed at ICC world cup 2011 opening ceremony. Later she worked as a model and television actress also. She released her first music video "Bhallage" in 2014. This song is written by sonica herself and composed by Shahan. They both lend their vocal in this song.[4] In 2015 she worked as an actress in two television drama "Last Sequence" and "Thriple F".[5] In 2021 she released a song with Dj Aks "Dance With You". She lend her voice in this song also appeared as model. She released her another song "sheet sheet lage" with maruf in 2022.[6]
