From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Gustavo Guerrero (right).

Cunaguaro Soul was a Venezuelan rock band formed in Caracas by Gustavo Guerrero,[1] Miguel Arellano and Rómulo Castillo.

In Spain, the group made a concert at Madrid's Patio Maravillas in 2009.[2] That year they were one of the guest bands at the Festival Nuevas Bandas [es] in Venezuela.[3]

Musical influence and style

[edit]

The band explored genres such as rock music, incorporating elements of soul, and they have been considered an experimental music group too.[2] Also, they have been described as influenced by Dermis Tatú [es].[4]

Vice wrote that Cunaguaro Soul was "the power trio that crowned him (Guerrero) as the greatest hope of rock in his country".[5] El Diario wrote about them: "They are considered the most suggestive rock band on the Venezuelan music scene".[2] They have been described as a cult band too.[6]
