Amanda Cristina "Cristal" La'O Bagatsing (born February 3, 1984), sometimes misspelled as Amanda Christina "Cristal" La'O Bagatsing, is a Filipino politician serving as the representative of Manila's 5th district from 2016 until 2022. She is the daughter of former congressman of the same district Amado Bagatsing.
Congressional career
[edit]Bagatsing succeeded her father in his congressional seat at Manila's 5th district in 2016, in a six-way race (with one of them is former congressman Joey Hizon).[1][2] She ran for 2nd term in 2019 under PDP Laban and defeated former mayoral candidate Ali Atienza.[3][4] She ran for 3rd term (align with National Unity Party), but defeated by Asenso Manileño's Irwin Tieng by estimate of 3,000 votes.[5][6]
