Constanza Barrandeguy Fernández (born 7 April 1996)[1] is a Uruguayan field hockey player, who plays as a midfielder.[2]
Career
[edit]Indoor hockey
[edit]Constanza Barrandeguy has competed at two Indoor Pan American Cups.[3] She represented Uruguay at the 2017 and 2021 editions, winning bronze at the former.[2][4]
Field hockey
[edit]Under–18
[edit]In 2014, Barrandeguy was a member of the Uruguay U–18 team at the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing.[5][3]
Las Cimarronas
[edit]Barrandeguy made her senior international debut for Las Cimarronas in 2013, at the Pan American Cup in Mendoza.[2][3]
Since her debut, Barrandeguy has been a constant member in the national team. In 2022, she was named co-captain of the team, leading the squad to a bronze medal at the South American Games in Asunción.[6][7]
In 2023, she was named in the squad for the Pan American Games in Santiago.[8][9]
