Comilla Girls' College also known as Cumilla Mohila Mahabidyalay (কুমিল্লা মহিলা মহাবিদ্যালয়)[1] is a private, government MPO-listed higher secondary college located in Dharmapur, a locality within Sadar Upazila of Cumilla District in Bangladesh. The college was established in 1984. It is affiliated with Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Comilla.[2][3]
Academic
[edit]This college is a higher secondary educational institution. The institution adheres to the national curriculum for eleventh and twelfth-grade programs. According to the national curriculum, students applying for admission in the eleventh grade must mandatorily choose one of the three academic streams: Science, Commerce, or Humanities. Based on their preferences and meeting the stipulated criteria, students are enrolled in their chosen stream in the college. The college's faculty comprises 1 principal, 7 assistant professors, and 11 lecturers.
Campus
[edit]The college has its permanent campus in Dharmapur in Adarsha sadar Upazila, Cumilla district. This campus is situated 500 yards south of Shashangacha bus stand, along the Cold Storage Road. The main campus is situated on 50 decimal of college's owned land. However, prior to the completion of the permanent campus infrastructure, the college functioned from a temporary campus located in Kandirpar locality of Cumilla city for an extended period.
