Cold Harbour is a hamlet in the civil parish of Old Somerby,[2] in the South Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, England.[3] It is located at the junction of the A52 road between Grantham and Donington and High Dike[4] between Grantham and Ancaster.[5] The hamlet is

There are several theories on the origin of the settlement name Cold Harbour, which occurs in several places: it may mean a "cold", or no longer inhabited, "harbour" or refuge.[6]
