Cody Dylan Core (born April 17, 1994) is an American former professional football wide receiver. He played college football at Mississippi and was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL draft. He has also been a member of the New York Giants and Miami Dolphins.

Cincinnati Bengals
[edit]Core was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the sixth round, 199th overall, of the 2016 NFL draft.[3][4] In his rookie year, Core played in 8 games with 4 starts, recording 17 receptions for 200 yards.
Core was waived during final roster cuts on August 31, 2019.[5]
New York Giants
[edit]On September 1, 2019, Core was claimed off waivers by the New York Giants.[6]
On March 26, 2020, Core re-signed with the Giants.[7] He was placed on injured reserve on August 19, 2020, after tearing his Achilles tendon in practice.[8] He was released after the season on March 8, 2021.[9]
Miami Dolphins
[edit]On November 29, 2021, Core was signed to the practice squad of the Miami Dolphins.[10] He signed a reserve/future contract with the Dolphins on January 11, 2022.[11] He was released with an NFI designation on July 26, 2022.[12]
