Chiefs of Clan Grant
Appearance
The following is a list of the Chiefs of Clan Grant. The chiefs were seated at Castle Grant and titled Baronet Grant of Grant and Baron Strathspey. Between 1811 and 1915, they also held the title Earl of Seafield. The chiefly family, formerly surnamed Ogilvie-Grant, has historically been connected with the Colquhoun and Ogilvie clans.

XXIII | Sir James Grant of Grant, 8th Baronet | 1810 | Son of XXII. Married Jean Duff, granddaughter of the 1st Earl Fife. Known as the “Good Sir James”, he founded Grantown-on-Spey. |

He was killed during World War I serving with the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders. His daughter Nina inherited the Seafield title and estate. |
