Check-in Hanyang (Korean체크인 한양) is an ongoing South Korean television series starring Bae In-hyuk, Kim Ji-eun, Jung Gun-joo, Park Jae-chan, Kim Eui-sung, Yoon Je-moon, Han Jae-suk, and Kim Min-jung. It premiered on Channel A on December 21, 2024, and airs every Saturday and Sunday at 19:50 (KST).

Synopsis

Check-in Hanyang is a coming-of-age romance historical drama that tells the story of Joseon's largest inn, Yongcheonru, which raised the arrogant motto, "The customer is king", and the young men of Joseon who join as interns there.

Check-in Hanyang is written by Park Hyun-jin, directed by Myeong Hyun-woo, planned by Channel A, and co-produced by Wemad Co., Raemongraein, and Story Networks.[3]

On August 29, 2024, Channel A and Japanese content production company Pony Canyon signed a business agreement for the joint production of the Check-in Hanyang at the Dong-a Media Center in Jongno District, Seoul.[4]

Casting

On April 26, 2024, Bae In-hyuk, Kim Ji-eun, Jung Gun-joo, and Park Jae-chan had been confirmed as the main characters of the series.[3] According to SPOTV News interview on May 28, Han Jae-suk would be appear.[5] On June 13, it was reported that Kim Min-jung would appear and make a special appearance.[6] On June 24, Lee Ho-won was reported to appear, according to his agency.[7]

Release

Channel A announced that Check-in Hanyang would be broadcast in December 2024.[4][3] In November 2024, it is confirmed to premiere on December 21, and would air every Saturday and Sunday at 19:50 (KST).[8]
