Cerasicoccus arenae is a Gram-negative, obligately aerobic and non-spore-forming bacterium from the genus of Cerasicoccus which has been isolated from marine sand from Kamaishi.[1][2] Cerasicoccus arenae can produce carotenoid.[2]
