Opposed speedy rename
[edit]- Category:Water polo world champions navigational boxes to Category:Water polo World champions navigational boxes – C2A, C2E, and C2C with Category:Diving World champions navigational boxes. Thanks! – Phikia (talk) 02:50, 30 March 2020 (UTC)
- IMHO the capitalisation right already, like Category:Gymnastics world champion navigational boxes, and the Diving one is wrong. In Category:World championships sport navigational boxes either an event's proper name is capitalised, or lowercase is used for generic sport world champions. – Fayenatic London 16:54, 30 March 2020 (UTC)
- But rename to Category:Water polo world championships navigational boxes to match the contents. – Fayenatic London 15:56, 31 March 2020 (UTC)
- This is my plan (category tree organization):
- Category:Water polo Olympic champions navigational boxes consists of navigational boxes that display the champions of Water polo at the Summer Olympics, and is a subcategory of Category:Water polo champions navigational boxes & Category:Water polo at the Summer Olympics navigational boxes (consistency with Category:Football at the Summer Olympics navigational boxes);
- Category:Water polo World champions navigational boxes consists of navigational boxes that display the champions of Water polo at the World Aquatics Championships, and is a subcategory of Category:Water polo champions navigational boxes & Category:Water polo at the World Aquatics Championships navigational boxes;
- Category:FINA Water Polo World Cup winners navigational boxes consists of navigational boxes that display the winners of FINA Water Polo World Cup, and is a subcategory of Category:Water polo champions navigational boxes & Category:FINA Water Polo World Cup navigational boxes;
- Category:FINA Water Polo World League winners navigational boxes consists of navigational boxes that display the winners of FINA Water Polo World League, and is a subcategory of Category:Water polo champions navigational boxes & Category:FINA Water Polo World League navigational boxes;
- Category:Water polo Asian Games champions navigational boxes consists of navigational boxes that display the champions of Water polo at the Asian Games, and is a subcategory of Category:Water polo champions navigational boxes & Category:Water polo at the Asian Games navigational boxes;
- Category:Water polo European champions navigational boxes consists of navigational boxes that display the champions of European Water Polo Championship, and is a subcategory of Category:Water polo champions navigational boxes & Category:European Water Polo Championship navigational boxes;
- Category:Water polo Pan American Games champions navigational boxes consists of navigational boxes that display the champions of Water polo at the Pan American Games, and is a subcategory of Category:Water polo champions navigational boxes & Category:Water polo at the Pan American Games navigational boxes.
- So I propose not renaming Category:Water polo world champions navigational boxes to Category:Water polo world championships navigational boxes. If it might be against common practice, I will withdraw my nomination to rename Category:Water polo world champions navigational boxes to Category:Water polo World champions navigational boxes. Thanks! – Phikia (talk) 03:23, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
