Subcat of Soviet art

@ForsythiaJo: do you think this should necessarily be a subcategory of Category:Soviet art? Surely there are propaganda posters that wouldn't really be categorized as artworks like Beat the Whites With the Red Wedge is? Remsense ‥ 论 00:24, 26 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I don't have a strong attachment to the subcategory either way. I suppose not all posters are inherently artistic, but I think one could make the case that Soviet propaganda posters did constitute a specific type of public art.
