The pages about U.K. and U.S.A. shipbuilding companies make a distinction between companies building ships, i.e. large vessels, and companies building boats. In Dutch / German the distinction between schip / Schiff and boot / Boot is not that clear. It has changed over time, and is complicated by ever larger vessels for inland navigation. Anyway, the U.K. and U.S.A. pages about shipbuilding companies relegate the builders of boats to the boat builder subcategory.Grieg2 (talk) 22:30, 16 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
