Tarara is Croatian, not Māori[edit]

"Tarara" (though not in the Williams Dictionary) is a Māori word for "Croatian" - arising from the closeness of the two communities in northern New Zealand from the late 19th century. See http://www.croatia.org/crown/articles/10214/1/Tarara-Croats-and-Maori-in-New-Zealand-monograph-by-Senka-Bozic-Vrbancic.html. People in this category, if living today, may well have both Croatian and Maori descent, but that does not justify an incorrect parent category for "Tarara descent". "New Zealand people of Croatian descent" is fine; "People of Māori descent" is probably not. Robin Patterson (talk) 11:08, 27 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
