This category should reflect the general policies of categorizing people by city as seen in categories like Category:People from New York City, Category:People from Warren, Michigan or hundreds of others. Per wikipedia policy being born in a given place is not notable in most cases, so in general if someone was born in Singapore to a non-Singaporeian family and moved away at a very young age they belong in zero Singapore categories. If they were born in Singapore as a citiens and moved away at a very young age they can be put in categories like Category:Singaporean emigrants to the United States, or Category:Singaporean emigrants or what ever category exactly fits their situation, however they should in general not be placed in this category unless a noticeable amount of their growing up was in the city or some very important event happened to them while extremely young.John Pack Lambert (talk) 21:56, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
