Greene County

[edit]

Since Springfield straddles two counties, I don't think this should be a subcategory of Greene County. It is possible for a park to be in Springfield but not in Greene County. Any thoughts? Taxman1913 (talk) 17:11, 10 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If it straddles two counties, then it should be a subcategory of two counties. Similar to 'People from Foo' that is a community in two counties Lake and Crater, the category is a subcategory of 'People from Lake County' and 'People from Crater County'. Better yet, Look at People from Springfield, Missouri. Off topic- Springfield was one of the main settings of an ebook I'm selling at Amazon. Didn't know it was in two counties till now....William, is the complaint department really on the roof? 17:24, 10 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I understand your point. We just have a different way of looking at it. My concern is that you end up with Cooper Tennis Complex effectively categorized in the wrong (and the right) county. But doing it your way allows someone to find it by searching in the correct county. The benefit of that seems to outweigh the minor indirect incorrectness. So we should leave it as is.
