The definition of paleoanthropology should be expanded beyond the physical remains of humans, to include also the material culture remains from various periods. "Paleoanthropology" should therefore include also prehistoric archaeology, which is provides as close an equivalent to modern day social and cultural anthropology. It is in fact the practice among many workers in physical anthorpology, paleontology and prehistoric archaeology.Erella (talk) 16:45, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
