Help with adding subcategories

How do I make Category:Bridges by river and Category:Crossings by river show up as subcategories of Category:Lists of bridges??

(I mean at the top of the page.. just like as in Category:Crossings by river there's a separate section titled "Subcategories" above the section titled "Pages in category "Crossings by river" yet when you go to edit the page all those subcategories aren't listed there... and I want to know how/where it is that those subcategories are placed).

I think I need to read up more on the category system because this is really confusing and frustrating me... and WP:SUBCAT should be a bit more clearer to understand. -- œ ^™ 22:37, 6 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
