Inappropriate: "aboriginal"
[edit]The word "aboriginal" should be spelled with a capital A: "Aboriginal". How can we change it? Thanks. SAOTY (talk) 07:25, 12 September 2016 (UTC)
Likewise "the" seems weird here: Category should read "Linguists of Australian Aboriginal languages" Claire (talk) 19:15, 19 July 2017 (UTC)
I agree with the above comments. There definitely should be no "the" and "Aboriginal" should be capitalized. However, I'd suggest perhaps the category should be renamed "Linguists of Australian Indigenous languages" to include the languages of Torres Strait Islanders as well. Or alternatively "Linguists of Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander languages." What do others think? Here are instructions for nominating a category for renaming. I'm happy to go ahead and do this if I receive some confirmation/consensus here about including/excluding Torres Strait from this category. --Jaydenshere (talk) 05:02, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
