I created a new category for "Italian American cuisine". Most of the articles were previously in both the "Italian American cuisine" and "Italian restaurant" categories so I thought it was a useful category as a subcategory for "Restaurants in the United States" (most of the restaurants in this category are based in the US but excluded from the parent category). The problem arose when I went to reliable sources there wasn't a clear criteria for if a restaurant was "Italian" or "Italian American" (could a restaurant in Canada serve Italian American food?). This is why I'm not happy with it currently. "Italian restaurants in the United States" (a less subjective category) would have been better. What do you guys think? I can't change it now because the category is already created with the wrong name, will one of the administrators help? Spudlace (talk) 05:32, 8 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
