Honor societies is part of the Fraternities and Sororities WikiProject, an effort to build a comprehensive and detailed guide to Greek Life on the Wikipedia. This includes but is not limited to International social societies, local organizations, honor societies, and their members. Should all college fraternities and sororities go in this category? Category:Fraternal and service organizations says "For college fraternities, see: Category:Student societies" and Honor societies seems the only reasonable non-geographical subcategory where they would fit. In other words, U.S. college fraternities could go in Category:United States student societies, but it would also be useful to have them by type together with fraterntiies and sororities from other contries. Until I hear otherwise, I'm putting them in here. mennonot 20:46, 10 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: Category:Fraternal and service organizations has just been renamed as Category:Fraternal service organizations, and for some time it has said "For college fraternities, see: Category:Fraternities and sororities". - Fayenatic (talk) 16:28, 2 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
