Name
[edit]This category seems to be used for two distinct things:
- Plants and fungi containing stimulants (yerba mate, Nicotiana rustica), but not all (coffea, nicotiana)
- Some items prepared from those sources (mate (drink), paan, coffee, tobacco), but not all (Category:Caffeinated drinks, chocolate, cola)
It is not used for the stimulants themselves (caffeine), which are listed in the superordinate category Category:Stimulants.
The current title is ambiguous: "stimulants" could mean any of the above. Is it a good idea for it to be so general? Or should it be restricted to the first case, in which case a better name would be Category:Plants and fungi containing stimulants. --Macrakis (talk) 18:30, 6 March 2018 (UTC)
