Separating positions from specific techniques

It seems to me that (per WP:CATDEF) this category could be made far more consistent and agreeable with the sources if it only referred to actual grappling positions and did not include the techniques/holds which are applied from grappling positions, but are not commonly seen as positions per se. While I'll admit that virtually anything could be argued as a "position" in the most general sense, grappling positions have a much more narrow meaning. For example, you don't commonly here a practitioner say "He submitted his opponent in or from the arm triangle choke position", but rather something like "He submitted his opponent from mount, using an arm triangle choke".
