The fishing articles need a lot of work and I think one of the biggest problems will be making the articles accurate for different parts of the world, different continents and oceans have different fish species and different methods for catching them. I plan to work on the articles for course and sea fishing over then next few months, but I am afraid that all I know is about fishing in and around the British isles and so all of my work will be based on my experience fishing for fish found around Britain. If anyone from different parts of the world would like to help we need to start some form of organization and project management. We also need to better differentiate between leisure fishing and commercial fishing. --Aaronsharpe 22:43, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
WikiProject Fishing
[edit]I think a WikiProject on fishing would be valuable. Particularly here, where some thoughtful development of fishing categories is needed. ENeville 01:53, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
