I am having difficulties adding the new category Films directed by George Stevens so that it appears under Films by director. Can anyone help? I think that to try to reduce the number of categories under "Category:Films" it could be created another category "Category:Films by some criterion" where to put all the categories "Category:Films by ...". What do you think?--80.103.0.223 (talk) 18:49, 8 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Templates vs. Most specific categories

"Film X" templates are adding pages to "X films" categories, where X is a country. This conflicts with WP:FILMCAT#Most specific categories. —Codrdan (talk) 23:33, 9 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Is it necessary to have:

Bollywood films
Bengali films
Kannada films
Malayalam films
Tamil films
Telugu films
