Or just "Werewolves". Unless we were to segregate between werewolves in fiction (movies, tv shows, etc.) and those of folk legend. That distinction seems unnecessary though. The whole point of this category, and all of the other "fictional [legendary creature]" categories, is to separate fiction and legend. Merging the categories blurs the distinction between articles on actual beliefs and those on modern works of fiction. -Sean Curtin23:33, 5 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
and fictional werewolves should be a seperate category from folklore and myth - and fact. Just because people *now* do not believe does not negate the various trials and documented sightings in the pre-industrial world. I am not saying 'dude! werewolves are real!' i am saying they were once accepted and treated as real and there are realworld stories about them that are quite different from modern fiction.
