[edit]This is obviously not a complete or sufficiently cited list. I suggest that any fiction to be listed under this category ought to at least feature a description of the 'animal cruelty' involved in the main article WITH proper reference. Also some clarification as to whether the 'animal cruelty' is actual (and verifiable with cited reference) or within the dramatic context of the story is needed, as this category now stands inclusion could be interpreted as an accusation of animal cruelty. --TBliss (talk) 00:39, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
- The scope of this category is fictional portrayals of cruelty to animals. In some films, such as The Holy Mountain (1973 film), there have also been actual instances of animal abuse that took place during the production. Actual incidents of animal cruelty would be categorized under Category:Animal cruelty incidents. Gobonobo T C 01:41, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
