Proposal to move some of these articles to "Category:Far-right politics in the United States" or "Category:Far-right politics in North America"

[edit]

Compared to other nations, a disproportionate number of articles in the "Far-right politics" category pertain to groups and people in the United States (and some in Latin America) as opposed to just general concepts related to far-right politics. I propose we separate them out in order to streamline this category and differentiate between far-right groups of the United States and Latin America as opposed to Europe. (Also because the rhetoric and strategy of many far right groups is distinctly different than the rhetoric used in Europe). 18.244.7.149 (talk) 14:58, 15 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Criteria for inclusion in category

[edit]

I am trying to determine the criteria for adding an organization to this category. Has there ever been a discussion on this? I note that per Recent Categories for discussion, individuals and organizations should no longer be added to the various "bias" categories (racism, sexism, homophobia, antisemitism, anti-Islam sentiment, etc.), but I haven't seen anything about religious organizations. The organization in question here is Bodu Bala Sena, a Buddhist/ethnic (nationalistic?) organization that has been the target of a lot of vandalism.
