Necessity of this article

[edit]

My first reaction is to mark this for speedy deletion, but before I did I was wondering what your plans were for expanding this? As there is only one entry, right now it does not seem necessary or worth having.

First, this is a category, not an article. Second, with categories, size is not the only factor to consider. If it's part of an overall categorisation scheme (which it is: see Category:Murder victims by nationality), the number of articles in it is fairly irrelevant. Feel free to nominate it for a full CFD, but I don't think it meets any of the speedy deletion criteria. To suggest that there will only be one article in the category indefinitely (if that's what you're suggesting) is unrealistic as well. Good Ol’factory (talk) 13:11, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
