Move?

[edit]

Is anybody else bothered by the fact that this category is ungrammatical? "Briton" is a substantive (as in "I am Arthur, King of the Britons"—"King of the 'oo?"); the corresponding adjective is traditionally "British" (or less commonly "Britannic"), though nowadays to avoid confusion/anachronism we might prefer to say "Brittonic" or "Brythonic". We might even forego the adjective in favour of "of ancient Britain". Q·L·1968 02:59, 11 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If nobody objects, I'll move this category to Category:Deities of ancient Britain (likewise with the categories for gods and goddesses). Q·L·1968 19:02, 9 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, I see there's a 'Category for Discussion' procedure (one of the many things in the WP:* side of the project that I'm blissfully ignorant of). Bear with me if I make mistakes; I've never used this procedure (that I can remember). Q·L·1968 18:31, 2 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
