The category is called "Defunct United States courts" but is it supposed to include federal courts only, or state courts as well? Consider for example New Jersey Court of Errors and Appeals. I would think that the category should parallel Category:United States courts of appeals and include federal courts only. At present the category's scope note is ambiguous; it refers to "courts of the United States" which could mean courts of the federal judiciary branch, or courts in the United States as opposed to some other country. --Mathew500020:53, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
