Category:People from the Dakota Territory - is there a point to this? The reason I'm asking is that Neal Evans was born in "the Dakotas", and would seem to have a birthdate during the lifetime of this territory; my source on him doesn't say whether he was from North or South Dakota, so i can't add the "people from" category there appropriately; would help if I knew the town but I don't. But it got me thinking; lots of people were born in territorial years in many parts of the US....there may already be "people from Washington Territory" or "People from Oregon Territory", I don't know.....are there enough notable people born in the Dakotas 1861-1889 for there to be any point to this? Barring that, if anyone happens to know of Neal Evans and where he was from, then just please add teh appropriate category to his article.Skookum1 (talk) 14:19, 15 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
