Scope
[edit]Is this category intended for people associated with the UK armed forces, or for UK people of primarily military notability? The stub template text suggests the former; the categorisation, under UK people, suggests the latter. I think the latter would be preferable. Alai 21:37, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
- I would also like to know whether it should include Commonwealth/Dominion-born military people, members of the military of their country of birth, whose only connection with the UK was that their unit was included in a British military formation (such as the 8th Army). I give as an example Howard Kippenberger. GrahamBould 08:57, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
So...can anyone add their relatives?
[edit]I have seen many WWII stubs that appear to be about nothing more than average soldiers. Don't mean too be a dick, but what is the criteria for adding an article? (I haven't done anything but editing). --68.149.181.145 00:04, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
