I've added to this Category

[edit]

I'm the one who originally requested this category be created and I'm responsible for adding most of the articles listed. I figured most anything with an animated pair as the lead characters belongs, but in some cases there have been disagreements and so a few get dropped on occasion. I've also categorized several redirects, usually in instances when the redirect used to be an article with useful information. I've been able to find hundreds of qualifying animated duos articles and as many as I've added, there are no doubt still more to be found. I've intentionally not added video game duos like ToeJam & Earl, but the recent article Ratchet & Clank (film) qualified for that series. I've chosen not to add characters who happen to have animated versions like Harold & Kumar, though Bill & Ted was handled by Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures (1990 TV series), and Cheech & Chong has Cheech & Chong's Animated Movie, but my addition of The Blues Brothers was undone. If there's ever an article about the Blue Brothers cartoon, then I guess there can be a categorization of it. Real life people with animated incarnations include the Barbi twins (from Eek! The Cat), Siegfried & Roy (Siegfried & Roy: Masters of the Impossible), and the Olsen twins are covered with Mary-Kate and Ashley in Action!. I'm not that much of an expert on anime, so I'm sure there are a number of titles not yet listed (any takers?). Animated duos does not yet have an article itself, but much like Double act, it might make for a good one someday. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.252.132.96 (talk) 02:19, 31 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Despite what I say above, The Blue Brothers categorization remains. I must have been remembering something else....
Anyway, while I normally I try to add to this category, this time I decided to add more categories and subtract the articles from within them, though Adventure Time and Phineas and Ferb‎ appear to be locked. There may be even more categories to add and articles to subtract, but for the time being it's good. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.252.130.235 (talk) 04:47, 16 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
