Split
[edit]This really needs to be split by genre. What think? How about something like Category:American country record producers? Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells • Otter chirps • HELP) 00:47, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
Naming this category
[edit]This category falls under Record producers by nationality; as a nationality, it should be titled "US record producers". Policy guidelines correctly suggest the Americas are not a US province, and unless the term was used relative to the entire delineated region, it is a misuse. I agree. Any thoughts? - In categorization (and within articles), the primary meaning of the demonym 'American' applies to people of the United States. Compare, for example, Category:American people with Category:People of the Americas. -- Black Falcon (talk) 16:26, 14 June 2012 (UTC)
