Vincent Galante
[edit]This article contains a link for a certain Vincent Galante article. A dud article that almost excactly matches that of the Vincent Gigante article. There is no such mobster as Vincent Galante. However there is a mobster by the name of Carmine Galante.
I am going to go right ahead and change it.

- Actually... I do not know how to edit articles like this one. So could some one else fix it up. Thanks. --Alexbonaro 12:49, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
- I nominated the articles for deletion here Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Log/2006_March_10#Vincent_Galante. Arniep 15:34, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
double level categorization
[edit]If an article exists in one of the following subcats (Category:Sicilian-American mobsters, Category:Calabrian-American mobsters or Category:Neapolitan-American mobsters) then can the article be deleted from this Category:Italian-American mobsters. I think this would be a proper method for article management and elimination of double level categorization. Any questions? If not, I will start this work in about a week. Would it be possible to add a note to readers directing them to these subcategories? They might wonder why some of the most prominent gangsters (i.e. Al Capone, Lucky Luciano, Vito Genovese, etc.) no longer appear in the main category.Rogermx (talk) 00:41, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
