• Load up an article from the category.
• There is maintenance templates should be at the top of page, with the relevant redlink/copy-pastable code to create the redirects.
• VERIFY THAT THE FORMER NAME IS CORRECT FIRST
  • There are links in the maintenance templates to facilitate this
  • If |formername= is wrong, fix it. The maintenance templates will now update themselves with the correct-copy past code, and the correct redlinks to be created.
• Use the copy-pastable code from the template to create the redirects (you can also reuse it in the edit summary)
• WP:PURGE the original article to remove the maintenance templates.
