Legislative Council

[edit]

2025 is the first election year in Western Australia where electoral reforms implemented in November 2021 will take effect for the Legislative Council. This reform eliminated seats in the Legislative Council, making each region more equal in size while creating a single electorate for all members elected under a one-vote, one-value system. Additionally, group voting tickets that are often criticised as being used to manipulate elections by forming complex preference deals have also been abolished.[158]

Incumbent members are shown in bold text. Successful candidates are highlighted in the relevant colour.
