Calotis dentex commonly known as white burr-daisy,[2] is a flowering plant in the family Asteraceae. It is a small shrub with white daisy like flowers and grows in New South Wales and Queensland.

Description

Calotis dentex is an upright, perennial, hairy, understory shrub to 80 cm (31 in) high. White flowers are often seen between the months of October to April.[3]

Taxonomy

The type specimen was collected at Sydney by Robert Brown and later published by himself in 1820. The specific epithet "dentex" refers to the toothed edges of the leaves.[4][5]
