Calgary Stampeders
[edit]On October 11, 2021, Cowan was signed by the Calgary Stampeders.[6] He played in the final three games of the regular season for the Stampeders, but did not play in the post-season.[3] In 2022, he made the team's active roster following training camp and played in 17 regular season games where he had six special teams tackles.[3] Cowan also played in the team's West Semi-Final loss to the BC Lions.[3] He played in 17 regular season games in 2023 where he recorded three defensive tackles and three special teams tackles.[3] He became a free agent upon the expiry of his contract on February 13, 2024.[7]
