Bracken Ridge State High School (BRSHS) is a public, co-educational, high school, located in the Brisbane suburb of Bracken Ridge, in Queensland, Australia.[2][3] It is administered by the Department of Education, with an enrolment of 640 students and a teaching staff of 61, as of 2023.[3] The school serves students from Year 7 to Year 12.[2][3]
History
[edit]The school opened on 23 January 1967, under the name Nashville State High School, which changed to its current name on 25 September 2000.[4] Bracken Ridge State High School became the first to power a classroom around the clock using just renewable energy in 2018.[5]
