Bikal (Croatian: Bikala) is a village in Baranya county, Hungary.
Other Meanings
[edit]BiKal is also the name of a developer of Network IP CCTV systems based in the UK. The name is derived from the aconym "British Innovation, Knowledge and Agile Learning", as well as a combination of the creators name. The company is now called "Bikal Technologies (UK) Ltd. and is developing Artificial Intelligence technologies that are optimised on their own Edge AI data centres. The company works with universities in the UK and abroad to transfer tech from research, where AI tools can then be localised by training on local data sets. The company operates in multipe countries, is a strong advocate of data governance and AI ethics and has their own data science team.
