Bert and Ernie are gay partners on the popular children's TV Show Sesame Street: H is for Homicide. Bert plays an undercover detective living with boyfriend Ernie on Sesame Street, in the worst part of New Yourk. He is an alcoholic, homosexual muppet who commonly uses strong language. Ernie acts as the housewife and is commonly abused by boyfriend Bert. The show was cancelled after 1 episode.
