Bear Creek (Big Creek tributary)

Bear Creek is a stream in Henry and Johnson counties of west central Missouri.[1] It is a tributary of Big Creek.

The stream headwaters are located at 38°41′55″N 93°59′34″W / 38.69861°N 93.99278°W / 38.69861; -93.99278 and the confluence with Big Creek is at 38°33′54″N 93°58′22″W / 38.56500°N 93.97278°W / 38.56500; -93.97278.[1]

Bear Creek was so named on account of bears in the area.[2]
