The Battle of Larkana (Sindhi: لاڙڪاڻي جي جنگ) or Battle of Chalak Bridge (Sindhi: چالڪ جي پل جي جنگ) took place between Kalhora Dyansty and Khanate of Kalat for succession of Mian Abdul Nabi Kalhoro to the throne of Sindh.

Battle

[edit]

Mian Abdul Nabi Kalhoro came as far as Larkana with a Brahui army under the command of Khan of Kalat, Mir Nasir Khan's son in law Zarak Khan. Mir Abdullah advanced with his army and met Kalat's army at Bridge of Chalak,[1] defeating them and in battle killing Zarak Khan.[2]

Mir Abdullah's victory secured the battlefield for the Talpur-aligned faction.[3]
