Geography

Barangay 79 is located on South Caloocan, particularly at its Caimito road area. It is part of Zone 7. It is bordered by Barangays 77 to the south, and 78 into the east side, Barangay Potrero located in Malabon city in the northern part, and 80 to the west. The Barangay is near the Monumento Circle, where the Bonifacio Monument is located.

The barangay consist of 6 roads and 2 adjacent roads.

Government

Like all other Barangays of the Philippines, the Barangay government of Barangay 79 consists of the Barangay captain, its head of government and seven preciding Barangay officers and Sangguniang Barangay staffs. Its seat of government, the barangay hall, is located at the corner of dagohoy and caimito road since December 2023.

There are over 20 Barangay police officer's or also known as Tanod, It is divided into 5 groups making it 4 each group, Each group is assigned to duty and roam the barangay every night.

Its current Barangay captain is Ezra V. Cruz, who has been holding the position since 2023.
