"Ball Park Incident" is a 1972 song by the British glam rock band Wizzard. released.

Written and produced by Roy Wood, "Ball Park Incident" was the debut single by Wood's band and was released in November 1972 on the Harvest label. It reached number six on the UK singles chart. The record was in the Top 40 for ten weeks and remained at number six for three weeks in January 1973. The single also reached number one on the Dutch Top 40.

The band appeared with the song, in mimed performances, on BBC's Top of the Pops on 14 and 21 December 1972 and then again on 4, 11 and 25 January 1973. All but the last performance have been wiped.[2]

The song appears as a bonus track on the 2006 reissue of Wizzard's debut album Wizzard Brew.[3]
