Khalil Fong (Chinese: 方大同; born 14 July 1983) is a Hong Kong–based singer-songwriter and producer.
Fong is notable for introducing a more sophisticated R&B and soul sound to the Chinese music market, drawing inspiration from artists like Stevie Wonder, Musiq Soulchild and Earth, Wind & Fire.
Fong grew up in Hawaii, Shanghai, and Guangzhou before launching his music career in Hong Kong. Following the release of his 2016 album Journey to the West, he had to step back from making music due to health concerns. He made a comeback in 2024 with his new album The Dreamer, announcing his return to music creation.
Fong is a member of the Baháʼí Faith.[1] He is a vegetarian.[2]
