Bablu Mahato

Bablu Mahato, also known as Chandradeo Mahato, is an Indian politician from Jharkhand. He is the son of Anand Mahato, a well-known political figure in Jharkhand. Anand Mahato served as a four-time MLA from Sindri and was actively associated with the Marxist Coordination Committee (MCC) until its merger with CPI(ML) Liberation in 2024. Chandradeo Mahato carries forward his father's legacy and has emerged as a key candidate for the Sindri constituency.

Political Career

Bablu Mahato is contesting the 38-Sindri constituency seat in the 2024 Jharkhand Legislative Assembly elections as a candidate of CPI(ML) Liberation.[1][2] His campaign is supported by an alliance comprising Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), Indian National Congress, and CPI(ML) Liberation.[3]

The 2024 elections mark his formal entry into electoral politics, with a focus on addressing workers' rights, industrial development, and improving public infrastructure in the region.

Political Vision

Bablu Mahato has promised to continue the pro-worker and grassroots-oriented policies championed by his father. His campaign emphasizes strengthening public sector enterprises, ensuring labor rights, and advocating for the sustainable development of the Sindri region.[4]
