Bahu Kalat (Persian: باهوكلات)[a] is a village in Bahu Kalat Rural District of Bahu Kalat District, Dashtiari County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran, serving as capital of the district.[4]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,016 in 198 households, when it was in the former Dashtiari District of Chabahar County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,294 people in 264 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,055 people in 221 households.[2]

In 2018, Dashtiari District was elevated to the status of a county and divided into the Central and Bahu Kalat Districts, with four rural districts and the city of Negur as its capital. The rural district was transferred to the new Bahu Kalat District.[4]
